Her audition: Madison Moon, 21, Orlando, Fla., “Creep” by Radiohead: Nice song choice, performed very well by Madison, who has a pretty unique vocal style. She also sang a bit of “30 Seconds to Mars.” Luke Bryan said she’s one of the best voices the judges have heard. Lionel Richie got goose bumps this time. Carrie Underwood predicted she’d be Top 30 at least.

* On her website, Madison describes herself as a professional singer-songwriter and guitarist based in Orlando, Fla.

* She describes herself as a pop rock princess on Instagram and on TikTok writes that “I sing loud and scream sometimes.”

* Both traits came in handy in the spring of 2024, when she spent a good deal of time in Europe as touring vocalist with the all-girl metalcore band Conquer Divide.

* Conquer Divide introduced her to fans in the spring of 2024 as “an accomplished screamer and singer,” adding on Instagram that “we were blown away by her audition.”

* On her website, Madison says she’s been performing music “as long as I can remember” and has performed frequently at the Tin Roof Orlando, as a solo act, duo and as part of a trio.

* Her major musical influences include Fleetwood Mac, Pink, Journey, Paramore and Eva Cassidy.

* Madison has a pair of singles on streaming sites — ‘Kerosene” from 2022 and “Why Her” from 2021.

* In a Nov. 20 Instagram post says: “Insanely big things coming.” She followed it up with a Jan. 2 post announcing her Idola audition.

* Judging from her TikTok, her father also sings.
