Marcos Covos from The Voice Season 23

Marcos Covos is one of the singers to announce he auditioned for Season 23 of The Voice.

The Voice returns to NBC on Monday, March 6.

Here’s more about Marcos.

*These days, he’s better known as a photographer than a singer.

* But he shows off his passion for singing in old videos on his YouTube channel.

* The first, from 2015, is a cover of “Estos Celos” — in Spanish, course — as he explains how he started singing mariachi music and that’s how he learend he had a passion for music.

* In another video, he and his sister haves lots of fun covering Meghan Trainor and John Legend’s “Like I’m Gonna Lose You.”

* These days, Marcos descibes himself as a photographer, creative director, and owner of Marcos Covos Photography and founder of Covos Haus, Covos Magazine, and Covos Haus Studio.

* He explains on Instagram that he’s always been in “love with decorating and creating beautiful things” and eventually began decorating sets for photograpers.

* He was so fascinated by the process, he took up photography himself and opened a studio in his hometown of Odessa, Texas, in 2016.

* In 2019, he relocated to Dallas to pursue high fashion and editorial photography and eventually opened Covos Haus.

* As of a September 2021 interview with Voyage, Dallas, his work had been featured in more than 50 publications, inlcuding several covers.

* But he still turns to God and music when he’s stressed, as he explains in a June 2022 Instagam post, accompanied by a cover of “Jesus Take the Wheel” by Carrie Underwood. You can check it out below.
