Among the artists who auditioned for Season 26 of The Voice is the duo MisterMoon.

Leah Colon and Savs makes up MisterMoon of The Voice Season 26

Here’s more about MisterMoon.

* MisterMoon is made up of Nashville-based female singer-songwriters Leah Colon, 26, and Savs, 28.

* They were solo artists when they met three years ago, went on tour together in 2022 and, by the last show, had decided they should be a duo.

* In February 2023, they released a Kickstarter to fund their first major release together.

* The effort proved successful and MisterMoon released a five-song, self-titled EP in May.

* “Cowboy Heaven” has been the most popular song from the EP on Spotify to date. Another song, “Headed East,” made the Top 5 in a RedBull songwriting competition. And be sure to check out the catchy “Better Than You.”

* In their Spotify bio, MisterMoon writes that “their music and lyrics are born from personal experiences, and they aim to touch the hearts of listeners by sharing relatable stories of struggle, self-discovery and resilience … They believe in the power of love and compassion, not only within their work, but also in their interactions with others.”

* Both members of MisterMoon had previously released music as solo artists.

* Leah, from Oklahoma, began writing songs at age 16, was inspired by artists such as Jess Stone and Ella Fitzgerald and has four singles and a 2022 EP on Spotify.

* Savs has been making music in Nashville for 10 years. She has six singles and a 2019 EP (“Savage”) on Spotify.

* In a goofy announcement video posted to Instagram, the duo say they feel “blessed and honored to be the token @nbcthevoice Season 26 duo.”
