Nadège of The Voice Season 25

Season 25 begins Monday, Feb. 26, with the coaching quartet of John Legend, Reba McEntire, Chance the Rapper and Dan + Shay.

Here’s more about Nadège:

* She’s Nadège Mossop a singer-songwriter in her mid-20s, born and raised in south Florida and now based in California.

* She’s a worship leader at Oceans Church in Irvine, Calif., and is featured on a live album released by Oceans Music last fall.

* Check out her featured track “Goodness of God” from the album “Live from the Cove” below. Another artist featured on the album is sure to ring a bell with Voice fans — Bodie, runner-up on Season 22.

* Nadège previously released music as a pop and R&B artist Nadège Nightingale. That includes a seven-song album called “Honey” from 2021 that’s still available on streaming sites.

* Judging from Nadège’s social media, she’s a busy young woman these days. She became engaged in late November. She’s also the is founder of a hair treatment oil called Glory in a Bottle.

* In a January social media post, she says she turned her life around four years ago when “I was in the most unhealthy state of my life, mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually” by putting her faith in Jesus. In another post, she called moving to California to join Oceans Church one of the best decisions she’s made in her life.

* She also shares a page from her “dream” diary, written in December 2006 when she was just 9 years old. It reads, in part: “One of my dreams is to be a singer, but you know how when you are about to sing, you just feel like (you’re about) to pass out. Well, that’s how I feel sometimes, actually, all the time. I just wish I wouldn’t be so shy these days now when I’m singing. One day, I will have the strength from Jesus.”
