“Christina (Aguilera) taught me to sing from the heart on @NBCTheVoice,” Nick wrote on Twitter. “I poured what I learned into my new single.”

You’ll recall Christina was Nick’s second coach on The Voice.

After turning three chairs with his blind audition, he opted to join Team Pharrell Williams. He made it to the knockout round before being eliminated.

But Christina brought his back as a coach’s comeback artist for the live playoffs. And along with Daniel Passino, he became one of the first coach comeback artists to make the finals, advancing all the way to the Top 9 before being eliminated.

Pre-Voice, Nick released two albums and a pair of EPs that are still available.

And he’s promising a list of 2017 tour dates soon. So far, he’ll be performing in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve and has a show scheduled for Jan 31 at Eddie’s Attic in Decatur, Ga.
