So, are you wondering which contestant among the 48 on Season 12 of The Voice has the biggest following on social media.

The answer will surprise you, because it certainly isn’t a singer who had chairs spinning during the blind audition.

In fact, the honor belongs to Malik Davage, the 23-year-old from a rough section of Washington, D.C.

His cover of “Sure Thing” by Miguel prompted just one coach — Adam Levine — to turn around.

But then again, Malik isn’t a newcomer to music circles. He has two singles to his credit and appeared on BET’s 106 & Park back in 2013.

And he leads all 48 Season 12 Voice contestants in the number of followers on Twitter and Instagram.

It’s noteworthy that a pair of four-chair turn recipients do show up on both lists — Anatalia Villaranda and Casi Joy. So does Lauren Duski, who had one of the most successful blind audition songs on iTunes.

Here are the Top 10 from both social media sites. The numbers are as of Saturday afternoon, March 18. And I’ll be updating them before the live shows begin to see who’s gained the most fans from the show.
