A returning contestant who failed to make the show in Season 5 got all four coaches to turn around during her performance on the second night of The Voice Season 8 blind auditions.
Deanna Johnson was the contestant who accomplished that feat. She joined Team Adam Levine. Meanwhile, Pharrell Williams picked up Anthony Riley, the night’s other recipient of a four-chair turn.
Tuesday’s episode also featured two young ladies who showed tons of potential — Brooke Adee, who joined Team Blake Shelton, and Mia Z, who also landed on Team Pharrell.
Other contestants featured on Tuesday’s show included Blaze Johnson and Tonya Boyd-Cannon, both now members of Team Adam; and Joe Tolo and Gabriel Wolfchild, both of whom joined Team Christina.
