Shakira, Blake Shelton duet on the ACM stage

Blake Shelton came away empty handed in terms of awards at the Academy of Country Music show Sunday night.

But he was part of one of the musical highlights of the evening.

He and fellow Voice coach Shakira teamed up to perform “Medicine,” a song featured on her brand new album.

It came off so well, I won’t be surprised it they’re nominated for vocal event of the year in 2015.

By the way, that award this year went to Blake’s wife Miranda Lambert, for her “We Were Us” duet with American Idol judge Keith Urban.
