Sorta new Clay Aiken album set for March release

0

American Idol’s Season 2 runner-up Clay Aiken will release a new album — sort of — in March.

The 10-track CD will be called “Steadfast,” but it appears seven of the tracks will come from his 2010 album “Tried and True,” featuring covers of hits from the 1950s and 1960s.

There will be three exceptions — his new single “Bring Back My Love” — plus covers of “Who’s Crying Now” and “Breaking Up Is Hard To Do.”

Pre-orders for the album are now being taken on Amazon.com.  It will be released March 27.

Clay, of course, is one of the competitors on the new season of The Celebrity Apprentice, which premieres Sunday, Feb. 19, at 9 p.m. on NBC.
