Carrie Underwood will try to repeat at the Academy of County Music’s Entertainer of the Year tonight, and fan votes determine the winner.

There’s still time to cast votes for Carrie. You can go here to do so.

The awards show begins tonight at 8 p.m. on CBS, and I’ll be blogging live and posting photos from the event.

Last year, Carrie became the first female to win Entertainer of the Year honors since 2000.

Other nominees for Entertainer of the Year: Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, George Strait, Keith Urban, the Zac Brown Band and, of course, Taylor Swift, the gal who figures to give Carrie the toughest competition.

Carrie is also nominated as top female vocalist of the year, an honor she has won three straight years.

(For lots of photos and coverage of last year’s show, go here and here.)

Her other nominations are for album of year for “Play On,” vocal event of the year for her “I Told You So” duet with Randy Travis and song of the year (as artist and composer) for “Cowboy Casanova.”

Her competition:

Female vocalist of the year: Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Taylor Swift and Lee Ann Womack.

Album of the year: “American Saturday Night” by Brad Paisley, “Lady Antebellum” by Lady Antebellum, “Revolution” by Miranda Lambert and “The Foundation” by the Zac Brown Band.

Song of the year: “Need You Now” by Lady Antebellum, “People Are Crazy” by Billy Currington, “White Liar” by Miranda Lambert, “You Belong With Me” by Taylor Swift.

Vocal event of the year: “Hillbilly Bone” by Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins; “Honky Tonk Stomp” by Brooks and Dunn with Billy Gibbons; “I’m Alive” by Kenny Chesney with Dave Matthews and “Seeing Stars” by Jack Ingram with Patty Griffin.
