Ryan Seacrest and thousands of Idol hopefuls turned out for auditions in Newark, N.J., over the weekend.

The stop marked the fourth for Idol this summer — and the closest to southcentral Pennsylvania.

Idol still has auditions coming up in Chicago (July 12), New Orleans (July 15) and Oklahoma City (July 18).

No one earns golden tickets during this round. What they earn is a chance to audition in front of the Idol judges at a later date.
