Well, visitors to the York Fair will be able to hear some of it in person come September.
Trent is among the singers who will be performing on the WGTY country radio stage — officially the Froggy 107.7 stage — during the September event.
The show featuring the Season 15 American Idol champ is set for 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10.
Other artists performing on the Froggy 107.7 stage will include Season 10 American Idol runner-up Lauren Alaina, former Voice contestant Jordan Rager and homegrown talent Kayla Kroh.
Lauren has performed at the York Fair several times in the past and will be featured in one of the opening night shows, 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9.
Jordan is signed to Broken Bow Records, the same label as Jason Aldean. In fact, he released a single called “Southern Boy,” featuring guest vocals by Aldean earlier this year. He’ll perform Sunday, Sept. 11, at 6:30 p.m.
Kayla is a Central High School graduate who will be a freshman at Albright College this fall. The singer-songwriter opened for former Idol finalists Scotty McCreery and Kristy Lee Cook at another WGTY-sponsored event a couple of years ago and earned a standing ovation for her impressive acoustic set. Her York Fair show is set for 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17.
As for Trent, he’s working on his debut album for Big Machine, of course, and released a lead single called “There’s a Girl” last month. He recently posted a music video trailer for the song to YouTube; the full video is supposed to debut today on Rolling Stone Country.
If you haven’t heard the single, I’m posting it below, along with the complete Froggy 107.7 York Fair schedule.
