This is the phase of the competition where a Top 20 are whittled to a Top 12 in a matter of three days of live performances and results.
The Voice will air two-hour performance shows Monday and Tuesday this week, followed by a one-hour results show Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST.
And, of course, with the coach comeback, there will actually be 24 artists or duos competing for those 12 spots in the Season 9 finals.
And since this is the first time the public will have a chance to vote for the singers, it’s also the perfect time to take a first look at the show’s social media leaders.
If you look at total support on Facebook and Twitter, Viktor Kiraly is easily the show’s most popular contestant. But it’s important to note that he had an enormous social media following before the show started.
And while Viktor has made a bigger gain on Facebook than any other contestant, the remaining singer who has picked up the most Twitter followers since the blind auditions is actually Zach Seabaugh, the teen country singer for Team Blake.
Among others who have made particularly impressive gains on social media since those auditions are Jordan Smith and Amy Vachal of Team Adam and Barrett Baber and Emily Ann Roberts of Team Blake.
Below is a team-by-team look at who ranks where on Facebook and Twitter. The number in parenthesis is the number of Facebook fans or Twitter followers the contestant has gained since the show started, though, in some cases, that number isn’t available.
All the numbers are as of 8 p.m. EST Saturday night.

Among female contestants, Emily Ann Roberts has made one of the biggest social media gains on The Voice. (NBC Photo)
