Wow, that didn’t take long.

Just a week after the American Idol finale, Will Moseley has announced his first big post-Idol show.

He’ll be opening for the Zac Brown Band Sunday, June 2, at a show in New York.

“Here we go! Hit the ground running! … Beyond thankful for this opportunity.”

Will, of course, finished second on American idol Season 22.

And he’s already reaping the benefits of doing so well on the show.

His country single “Gone for Good” — a song he performed twice on the show — has rocketed past 1 million streams on Spotify.

And his most recent original, “Good Book Bad,” had soared past 150,000 as of Sunday evening.

“Good Book Bad” is also still charting, sitting at number 45 on the Apple Music country singles chart. It rocketed into the Top 10 at the time of the Idol finale.

The fact that he’s already booked a post-Idol show is in keeping with a promise he made after the finale.

“Feeling incredibly blessed to have been apart of this amazing journey,” he wrote on social media. “Finishing this journey on a high note and this is just the beginning!

“Get ready America, because this is just the launch pad of my music career. Here comes Will.”
