The Voice invited back 12 contestants who didn’t make the Top 4 to perform in Tuesday’s season finale.

That’s not as inclusive as the show’s season finale used to be.

Remember when the entire Top 20 took the stage at some point during the finale?

Remember when the Top 4 got to invite back their best friends from the show for a special finale performance?

But Tuesday’s show also wasn’t as exclusive as The Voice has ever been. For instance, just seven non-finalists performed in the Season 14 finale.

The lucky dozen Tuesday included Joana Martinez, Myracle Holloway and the Hello Sunday teens singing “You Keep Me Hanging On;” Alex Guthrie, Max Boyle, Shane Q and Will Breman performing “Gimme Some Lovin’;” and Cali wilson, Gracee Schriver, Kat Hammock and Marybeth Byrd.

The latter was my favorite. But in case you missed them, here are all three performances.
