Guest stars have been announced for the Tuesday night finale of The Voice, and they include the original Idol.
NBC has announced that Kelly Clarkson will sing “Catch Your Breath” from her recently released Greatest Hits album on the show.
Kelly’s participation isn’t surprising. She just appeared on Blake Shelton’s Christmas special.
And during Season 2, she was a guest mentor helping Blake coach his contestants.
Also performing on Tuesday will be Rihanna singing her new single “Diamonds;” Bruno Mars singing “When I Was Your Man” and the Killers performing “Runways.”
With all the guest talent, let’s hope The Voice still manages to keep the attention where it should be — on Cassadee Pope, Nicholas David and Terry McDermott.
Speaking of which, I’ll be posting my final rankings for The Voice between now and Monday’s 8 p.m. performance show, so keep checking back for those.
Tuesday’s results show is a two-hour special beginning at 8 p.m.
