New post-Voice music out this week includes singles from three singers to made it to at least the Top 8 on the show.

That includes Season 18 runner-up Toneisha Harris with her first release since the show, plus Chris Jamison and Xenia.

Here’s a bit about each of those releses.

* Toneisha Harris, runner-up on Season 18, puts her big voice to great use on her first post-Voice single, a gospel song called “Forgive Me.” The song came out Thursday, a week after Toneisha premiered it at Habitat for Humanity’s Builders Ball in Los Angeles. Toneisha is also offering virtual voice lessons and master classes through Artists and Beyond.

* Chris Jamison, a finalist on Season 7, released “Coffee in the Morning” on Friday. It’s a song he wrote to sing for his wife on their wedding day, Chris told Parade.com. The couple now have a six-month old daughter. Chris’s brand new website explains the single as a song that discusses the difficulties of life with a silver lining — “that the simplest moments in life, like sharing a cup of coffee, can have the greatest impact.” There’s also a “Coffee in the Morning” music video.

* Xenia, Top 8 on Season 1, released a haunting new single Friday called “Lay Me Down.” The newly-engaged singer-songwriter has also launched a YouTube series called “Grounded and Homesick” with her fiancee in which she shares songs, talks about “hard topics” and shares about “things the Lord has done in our lives.” She plans to post a new episode every Wednesday.
