Morgan Wallen, from The Voice Season 6, is planning a double album for release in January.

You’ll recall the country singer was supposed to make a guest appearance on the show.

But that appearance was canceled after video surfaced of Wallen partying and flaunting Covid precautions.

Wallen wound up apologizing for fans and promising to take some time off to work on himself.

Well, the Season 6 standout on The Voice was forced back into the spotlight last week when he was named Top New Artist at the 2020 CMA Awards.

And he’s now announced an upcoming double-album called “Dangerous” that will be released Jan. 8 and is available for pre-order on itunes.

Most impressively, Morgan released three tracks from that album Friday, including “Somebody’s Problem,” “Livin’ the Dream” and “Still Goin’ Down.”

By the end of the day, versions of Morgan’s new singles occupied the top five spots and six of the Top 10 on iTunes country singles chart.

The new album will feature no less than 30 tracks, about half of which Morgan has a writing credit on.

It will also feature recent single “7 Summers.” Morgan recently released a short film for that song.
