Her audition:
Kinsey Rose, 35, of Nashville, Tenn. auditioned with “Cowboy Take Me Away” by The Chick. Kelly turned in an instant. Blake hesitated a bit, anticipating a block from Kelly. When he couldn’t resist turning for Kinsey anymore he discovered that he had indeed been blocked. Kelly said she loves Kinsey’s voice and her story-teller vibe. Kinsey automatically became a member of Team Kelly.

Here’s more about Kinsey.

* Kinsey is a country performer who has spent the last 12 years doing music in Nashville and has already released music.

* The music includes a cover album called “Honky Tonk Treasures” that came out earlier this year and includes Kinsey’s take on classics like “Jolene,” “Angel from Montgomery” and “Folsom Prison Blues.”

* Kinsey’s self-titled debut EP appears to have landed in 2011. She also released a full-length album called “Fair Weather Love” in 2015.

* Other releases include a 2013 single called “The Mullet Song” and a 2020 holiday EP, “Blue Kentucky Christmas.”

* In 2020 she also released a fun original called “When Trucks Fly.” She wrote the song with Buddy Owens and Kevin Post. You can check out the music video below.

* On Instagram, Kinsey says she knew she wanted to “do something with music” since she was 10 years old.

* She started writing and recording songs and gaining experience leading worship in churches and singing in choirs.

* She joined her first band at age 15, playing guitar and singing background vocals with a group of middle-aged men.

* Of her goal, Kinsey writes on social media: “I just wanna make great country music and make people smile.”
