Aaron Hines from The Voice Season 21

Aaron Hines is among the artists who auditioned for Season 21 of The Voice.

Here’s more about Aaron. The Voice returns to NBC on Monday, Sept. 20.

* On Instagram, he describes himself as a San Antonio-based singer-songwriter, creative director and leadership coach.

* And his ReverbNation bio calls him “a triple threat for the kingdom of God” because of “his soulful melodies, harmonies, and powerful lyrics.”

* Last year on Instagram, Aaron the adult wrote a letter to a photo of himself as age 2. Judging from what he wrote, Aaron picked up his first instrument around age 7. “You’ll develop a passion and love for music that will carry you places you never could think or imagine,” he writes. “There will be some extreme highs and some unbelievable lows but you’ll be fine.”

* Aaron doesn’t appear to have released music recently, but had in the past. A single called “Fix Me” from 2014 is available on Spotify.

* And in 2016, Aaron was promoting a single called “One Day” and released his first official music video.

* At least some of that music was released after Aaron was signed to 2Cool Productions by gospel rap duo, Crane&A-1 in 2010.

* His most recent cover on Instagram is an impressive version of Tauren Wells “Known,” posted earlier this year.

* His Reverb bio also indicates Aaron has “ministered before thousands, from Brentwood Baptist Church in Houston, Texas, to New Birth Missionary Baptist in Lithonia, Ga.

* Oh, and about that letter to 2-year-old Aaron … grown Aaron adds: “Living your life in response to God’s love will be the driving force for you in a lot of ways. You won’t learn that till mid 20s, but once it clicks it’ll all make sense.”
