Before the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints took the field for one heck of an NFL opener Thursday night, former Idol winner Jordin Sparks performed the national anthem.
Sparks won season six of Idol and is daughter of former NFL player Phillippi Sparks, a cornerback with the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys.
