Khloe Grace of American Idol Season 24

Khloe Grace of American Idol Season 24

Her audition: Khloe Grace, 15, Jacksonville, Fla., “Forever 13″ (an original): She sings a song she wrote about Aubreigh Wyatt, a 13-year-old who committed suicide after being bullied. Carrie Underwood likes the maturity Khloe shows in the performance and that fact that she could relate to someone else’s heartbreak. Khloe got praise from Luke and Lionel as well to go along with her golden ticket.

Here’s more about Khloe:

* She’s a very young country singer-songwriter who has already had one of her original songs go viral.

* That song, released in 2024, is the one she performed for her audition, Forever 13” and was written as a tribute to Aubreigh Wyatt, a 13-year-old Mississippi girl who committed suicide because of bullying.

* Khloe wrote the song to raise awareness of bullying and its impact. One version of the song on TikTok has been streamed 1.3 million times.

* The song also has 500,000 streams on Spotify. And in November, “Forever 13” was named Social Impact Song of the Year at the Josie Awards for independent artists. Khloe accepted the award at the Grand Ole Opry. You can check out a live version “Forever 13” below.

* In her Apple Music bio, Khloe says she has loved to sing “since I could talk.” She started singing in church around age 7.

* She released her first single at age 13. One of her first songs was “Give God a Chance,” a song she wrote “while two special people I knew were going through cancer.”

* Khloe has five songs out at this point. Her most recent release, “Your Reasons to Stay,” dropped last fall. It’s focus is suicide prevention.

* Khloe announced her Idol audition in November, along with an adorable video of her jumping up and down with joy at age 8 when she learned she would be going to a Carrie Underwood concert.

* In one of her Instagram posts, Khloe delivers this message: “When people tell you that your music career won’t go anywhere, it is VERY important that you don’t listen to them.”
