Jeremy Keith of The Voice Season 29

Jeremy Keith is among the artists who auditioned for Season 29 of The Voice.

The Voice returns to NBC Monday, Feb. 23, with the coaching trio of Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend.

Here’s more about Jeremy:

* He’s a contract vocalist, vocal coach and background singer who was born in Washington, D.C., but is now L.A. based.

* You’ll find a pair of smooth R&B singles from Jeremy on streaming sites — “Try” and “Tyme Off,” both of which were released in 2023. Check out “Tyme Off” below.

* But Jeremy has also enjoyed success as a backup singer during what one web bio calls a career that has spanned more than 20 years.

* He’s been a background singer for Grammy-winning Stephanie Mills, among others, and sang background on Kaleo’s hit song “Way Down We Go.”

* He also spent time as lead vocalist for the BB King All Star Band as Sea.

* In an interview with Voyage LA, Jeremy says he comes from a family of singers and musicians, adding that “church was a huge influence and training ground for me as a singer and performer.”

* In a recent post about his upcoming appearance on The Voice, Jeremy says he’s grateful for the experience, adding that music for him is “not an overnight thing. We’ve been singing for a very long time.”
