Carrie Underwood’s five-week reign atop Billboard’s country albums chart with “Blown Away” ended this week.

Blame Alan Jackson. His new “Thirty Miles West” CD took over the top spot on the chart, bumping Carrie to number two.

But Carrie’s new album is still showing more staying power than most of the recent CDs from Idol alumni.

“Blown Away” is also at number 9 on the Billboard 200, the highest position held by an Idol despite a rash of recent releases.

Carrie also got nudged off the top of the country singles chart, a week after “Good Girl” became her 11th number one country hit.

“Good Girl” drops to number four this week, with “Springsteen” by Eric Church taking over the top spot.

Other chart news of note:

* In its fourth week on the charts, Adam Lambert’s “Trespassing” drops from 24 to 54 on the Billboard 200.

* In its third week on the charts, Haley Reinhart’s “Listen Up” drops from 51 to 96 on the Billboard 200.

* Kris Allen’s second post-Idol album, “Thank You Camellia,” disappeared from the Billboard 200 after just two weeks.

* Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger” single continues to hold down the top spot on the adult contemporary chart. Last week, that became at least the seventh chart she has topped with the single.
