James Durbin’s ‘Celebrate’ hits Billboard charts

The second album from Season 10 American Idol finalist James Durbin hit Billboard today.

The album, “Celebrate,” landed at number 14 on the rock chart, making it the week’s third most successful debut album.

Black Label Society’s “Catacombs of the Black Vatican” is number one on the rock chart this week.

Off’s “Wasted Years” landed at number 10.

Over on the Billboard 200, “Celebrate” debuted at number 83.

Only one other Idol album is on the Billboard 200 right now — Daughtry’s “Baptized” at number 128 after 20 weeks on the chart.

“Celebrate” is the followup to James’ November 2011 debut album, “Memories of a Beautiful Disaster.”

It debuted at number eight on the rock chart and number 38 on the Billboard 200.
