A surprise? Hardly.
He’s been in that position after every performance on the show.
And Koryn Hawthorne is in the Top 10 on iTunes overall singles chart.
Surprise? Well, not considering the way she performed Monday night.
But the teen from Abbeville, La., has been one of the biggest surprises of Season 8, especially since the live shows began.
In fact, two hours after the show ended, Koryn was already sitting at number one on the iTunes pop chart while Sawyer was holding that position on the rock chart.
Here’s where all The Voice performances from Monday’s show ranked as of noon, when voting closed.
Chalk up bonus points for Koryn and Sawyer.
And if you’d like to check out my song by song grades from last night’s show, head here.

Sawyer is the Best he has our vote in upstate new York go Sawyer we love you
Really exciting season. Great talent but Sawyer has something beyond just great talent – it’s that something you just can’t define. He’s that one in a million.
