Since then, she’s been releasing a string a entertaining videos for the songs from that album, “Kat Robichaud and the Darling Misfits.”

The latest to get the video treatment: “Uh Oh,” a song about bickering lovers (“we used to get along so well, but now I’m in the backseat, and you’re driving us to hell”).

As the video begins, Kat is sitting on a couch, looking perturbed and inpatient over the direction in which the relationship is heading.

Then puppet monsters start popping up from all corners of the screen, joining in as the song continues.

By the time it ends, even the rather bizarre cap Kat is wearing on her head has joined in the fun.

Oh, well, I suppose they all qualify as darling misfits.

Actually, I have no idea what the puppets have to do with the song, but Kat seems to be getting along with them much better than the guy she’s singing about.

Kat told SFWeekly.com that the guest stars in her latest video — released Friday — came courtesy of puppet master Dave Haaz-Baroque, who has run Shadow Circus Creature Theatre in San Francisco since 2000. Kat was featured in one of those shows earlier this summer.
