He’s also the contestant who made the biggest advances on social media.
Jordan scored another iTunes hit on The Voice Monday night. And that might be something of an understatement. His version of “How Great is They Faithfulness” hit number one on the iTunes 200, ahead of even Adele.
In terms of social media, Jordan bypassed Zach Seabaugh as the contestant with the most Twitter followers, gaining 9,700 in the past week.
And he remained in front of the pack in terms of Facebook fans, widening his lead over Barrett Baber. In fact, the 9,760 fans Jordan picked up in the past week were more than twice those gained by any other contestant.
Meanwhile, Blake’s three country singers — Barrett, Zach and Emily Ann Roberts — continue to build impressive social media followings. Zach is still The Voice leader on Instagram.
And nearly getting eliminated can do wonders for your social media stats. Case in point: Korin Bukowski, who received Season 9’s first Twitter save Tuesday night.
In terms of Twitter followers, Korin surged from eighth to fifth among the remaining contestants, gaining more than 7,000 in the past week.
She was also the only contestant to leap-frog anyone on Instagram, passing Madi Davis. On Facebook, this week’s popularity order is unchanged.
Here’s a look at all the contestants’ social media stats as of 8 p.m. Saturday night. The number in parenthesis is the number of fans or followers picked up in the past week.
