American Idol Bus Tour

American Idol is returning and so is the Idol summer bus tour as the show searches for talent.

And the summer bus tour stops include Annapolis, Md., and Pittsburgh, Pa. — the two locations likely most convenient for local talent.

Meanwhile, Idol’s eligibility rules haven’t changed much. The Voice might have lowered its age limit to 13, but Idol is still looking for singers between 15 and 28.

The show had already announced two open auditions in Chicago (Sept. 11) and New Orleans (Sept. 14).

Here’s the bus tour schedule.

East Coast:

Aug. 17 — Orlando, Fla.
Aug. 19 — Miami, Fla.
Aug. 22 — Augusta, Ga.
Aug. 25 — Charleston, S.C.
Aug. 27 — Asheville, N.C.
Aug. 30 — Louisville, Ken.
Sept. 3 — Pittsburg, Pa.
Spet. 5 — Annapolis, Md.
Sept. 8 — Boston, Mass.

West Coast:

Aug. 17 — Portland, Oregon
Aug. 20 — Oakland, Calif.
Aug. 23 — Provo, Utah
Aug. 26 — Denver, Colorado
Aug. 29 — Omaha, Neb.
Sept. 1 — Tulsa, Okla.
Sept. 4 — Shreveport, La.
Sept. 7 — Muscle Shoals, Ala.
