Danielle Bradbery’s second album, I Don’t Believe We’ve Met, will be released in early December.

Danielle Bradbery has released the second song from her long-awaited sophomore album.

And “Human Diary” is far more somber in tone than “Sway,” the album’s lead single.

In the accompany video, Danielle paces around her bedroom, singing about a guy she misses, a guy who took all her diary-like secrets with her when he walked out to start a life with another woman.

The song was penned by Josh Kerr and Emily Weisband. It’s one of just three from Danielle’s upcoming album that she didn’t have a hand in writing.

But that doesn’t mean she had trouble connecting with the song.

In fact, in a recent interview, Danielle told Rolling Stone she was brought to tears the first time she heard “Human Diary.”

“It’s such a relatable song, and I really wanted to expose what I was feeling that day,” she said in the interview. “Everyone knows what it feels like to put their trust in someone and then feel robbed when they walk away, so I feel like this is a perfect taste of what I was going for on this album – pure honesty.”

“Sway” and “Human Diary” will be on Danielle’s upcoming “I Don’t Believe We’ve Met” album. The title is a nod to the fact that it’s been more than four years since her debut album and Danielle has done a lot of growing up, both personally and musically since she was a 16-year-old auditioning for, and eventually winning, Season 4 of The Voice.

Pre-orders for the album are underway on iTunes. Want a physical copy of the album or a merchandise bundle? Those are available on Danielle’s website.

And don’t forget, Danielle will be opening for for Michael Ray and Frankie Ballard on the opening night of the York Fair, Sept. 8. Tickets are $20 and are available now.
