RaeLynn has dropped her new single, Queens Don’t

One of the most successful country music graduates of The Voice dropped a new single Friday.

The song is the catchy “Queens Don’t” from RaeLynn.

And in spite of the title, RaeLynn, who co-wrote the song, said it’s meant as an empowerment anthem for guys and gals alike.

“A ‘queen’ is any person who knows that they are royalty from the inside out regardless of where they came from,” she says on her website.

“I wanted all my incredible friends and fans to remember that their self-worth shouldn’t be based on material things or other’s opinions, but rather the beauty and strength of your spirit.

“I hope this song inspires everyone who hears it – guy or girl, young or old – to be a queen and to never settle for people in your life that don’t see your true incredible worth.”

RaeLynn starred on Season 2 of The Voice, then went on to score country hits with “God Made Girls” and “Love Triangle.”

She’s currently on the CMT’s Next Women of Country Tour with Sara Evans and Kalie Shorr (dates here).

She’s also nominated foras best new female vocalist of the year at next month’s ACM Awards.

Here’s “Queens Don’t.”
