It’s going to be hard to put a good spin on The Four’s second season ratings.
Two weeks into the season, The Four had ranked dead last in the ratings among the shows airing on the big four of ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX both weeks.
The Season 2 premiere went head-to-head with the Stanley Cup finals, which won the night for NBC.
But this Thursday, there were no Stanley Cup finals for competition.
Still, The Four actually shed fans, with its viewership dropping from 2.43 to 2.19 million, according to TV by the number.
Both weeks so far, the show has gotten a 0.7 rating among adults.
During its six-episode first season earlier this year, The Four’s rating among 19 to 49 year olds ranged from 1.1 to 1.3 and its total viewership ranged from 3.29 to 4.07 million.
This summer’s second season is scheduled for 11 episodes.
The over-the-top silliness returns Thursday at 8 p.m.
