OneUp — the duo of Adam Bastien and Jerome Bell — made their stage debut on The Voice Season 15.
Less than two months after their blind audition aired, Adam and Jerome are preparing to release their first music as a duo.
The couple — and they’re a couple romantically as well as musicially — received a warm reception on The Voice with three coaches during for their cover of The Spinners’ “Could It Be We’re Falling in Love.”
Adam and Jerome decided to join Team Kelly Clarkson after Kelly applauded them for showing Voice fans that love comes in all forms and can happen anywhere.
OneUp was eliminated following a battle round performance of “Mercy” with Kymberli Joye.
Here’s what they said about their time on the show and their plans for new music.
Voice Views: The battle round was filmed in August. What has OneUp been doing in terms of music or the entertainment industry since then?
OneUp: Since our battle round was filmed, we took some time to figure out what we wanted our sound to be together. Since The Voice was the first time we had ever performed together we learned a lot about each other. We now have a sound and a message that we are proud of! We have recorded two singles that will be released Dec. 7.
Voice Views: Has there been a specific post-Voice experience that stands out so far?
OneUp: Just the amount of love and support from people all over the world has made our experience totally worth it!
Voice Views: Where do you see your time on the show leading you musically?
OneUp: Our time on The Voice was the perfect lanch we needed to get our name out there!
Voice Views: What do you have planned next?
OneUp: We are booking shows and will be traveling quite a bit!
Voice Views: Do you think you’ll be releasing new music in the future and, if so, what can fans expect in terms of sound/timing?
OneUp: DECEMBER 7th! Mark your CALENDARS! “Call My Name” and “Let Me Come Home”(Original Christmas Song) will be available EVERYWHERE!
Voice Views: Do you think you grew as a duo as a result of The Voice experience? If so, in what way?
OneUp: Absolutely! We learned so much about ourselves and we came out of this experience stronger than we were before.
Voice Views: Is there anything else you’d like to add about your experience on the show?
OneUp: We are forever grateful to The Voice and all of its producers/crew for standing behind our LOVE! #loveislimitless
