Jennifer Hudson threw her shoe at him.

Adam Levine promised that if fans saved him, they wouldn’t regret it.

In fact, he promised to guide his singer in danger all the way to the finals.

The pleas on behalf of DeAndre Nico worked.

So did a superior performance on his save song, “Take Me to the King.”

The result: He sailed into next week’s Top 10 show, apparently attracting more than 80 percent of the Twitter votes cast by fans of The Voice.

And Lynnea Moorer — the first-ever contestant to make the show by its new Comeback Stage — headed home after winning the show-ending vote on Twitter the previous two weeks.

Here’s how Voice Views graded that save performances.

Lynnea Moorer, “Tattoo Heart” — Lynnea immediately sounded better on this than she did on her Monday night performance of “Consequences.” If nothing else, this experience is helping the YouTube star get used to performing in front of a large audience in a pressure-packed situation. The performance wasn’t pitch perfect, but I really liked that tender ending. Grade: B–

DeAndre Nico, “Take Me to the King” — For the second straight week, Lynnea is going up against someone who turned four chairs in the blinds. I think it’s pretty clear DeAndre is the more developed vocalist. He also has a tendancy to overdo the vocals, which I suspect hurt him last night. He’s doing it again here a bit. But there’s no doubting his impressive range or the power in that voice. Grade: B+

When The Voice took down the vote graphic, DeAndre was winning by an 83 percent to 17 percent margin
