Eddie Island auditioned for American Idol Season 17.

There isn’t much out there yet, but that might change soon.

Eddie auditioned for Season 17 of American Idol and is rumored to have done very well.

Here’s more about Eddie.

* His name is Eddie Liggitt, he’s a 2011 graduate of Trinity Christian School and lives in Nashville.

* That perhaps explains why his Facebook and Instagram handles are @nashvillemayor. Take a look at the Instagram page, you’ll see this guy has quite the sense of humor.

* “I sing and I spank,” he writes there. “CRAZY but wholesome.” He also refers to himself as Mickey Mouse’s future roommate.

* In addition to his current stage name, he’s also tried Lindenbrook, a reference to the street where he grew up. There’s a lot of old musical content on the Lindenbrook YouTube channel.

* On his still active Lindenbrook Facebook page, Eddie writes: “Music is my life. It’s what I wake up early for and what keeps me awake at night.”

* The best place to go to find that music is that aforementioned Soundcloud page, where he’s posted some originals, including “Giant Mario Jam.” A better sample, though, is the impressive “California Cosmos.”

* At one point, going by the handle Cozy Commander, he started a podcast on AnchorFM called Space Station Affirmation.
