Seven singers turned four chairs during the Season 16 blind auditions on The Voice.

Celia Babini, of New York, was easily the youngest, accomplishing the feat with her version of “idontwannabeyouanymore” by Billie Eilish.

That landed Celia a spot on Team Adam Levine and she wound up advancing all the way to the Top 13 with the help of a steal by John Legend.

Celia, 17 when she auditioned, hails from an artistic family. Her father Luca travels the world as a photographer; her mother, Bonnie Young, is a fashion designer.

And she entered The Voice having already released an EP called “Lola” of songs she wrote mostly in the 2013-14 time frame.

Here’s what Celia told Voice Views about her time on the show and the new music she’s planning.

Voice Views: Which was your favorite performance on The Voice and why?

Celia: Definitely “The Chain.” It was so much fun. It’s just such a passionate song. That’s the kind of music I love and listen to. But because my fans are younger, I wasn’t sure they would resonate with it. Fortunately, they did. After the performance, I was talking to them and asked “would you guys like if I made music like that?” And they were all like “yes!” I’m just really happy they embrace that side of me and I wouldn’t have known that unless I had done the song. I also love Fleetwood Mac.

Voice Views: Where do you see your time on the show leading you musically? What do you have planned next?

Celia: It definitely has taught me a lot about myself and the industry. It’s made me a better artist and a stronger person. I think it definitely opened some exciting doors for me. I plan to release new music. I want to perform and tour for my fans and just keep climbing upwards.

Voice Views: Do you think you’ll be releasing new music in the future. If so, what can you tell me about that? And, what can fans expect in terms of sound/timing?

Celia: I definitely will be releasing new music. I want to get my sound right but I want to release stuff as soon as I can. I am a singer/songwriter so the fans can expect that vibe with a bit of alternative/rock. I want to bring back the music of the 70s, but make it more modern and relatable to today’s generation. They can also be sure that everything I put out is all my own words and message. I will be writing everything.

Voice Views: Do you think you grew as an artist as a result of The Voice experience? If so, in what way?

Celia: Yes! 1000%. I went from singing for 20 people in venues in NY to singing for millions. I have never been so sure of myself as an artist and I am ready for anything. The Voice has taught me that you must cherish your artistry regardless of what others want for you. It’s all about the music and passion, if you aren’t yourself up there you won’t be happy.

Voice Views: Is there anything else you’d like to add about your experience on the show?

Celia: I just want to tell my fans how much I love them and how lucky I am to have them. It’s been a wild journey, but so rewarding. I hope they stick around because we have big plans in store.
