Appropriately, it’s a fun, upbeat, youthful sounding R&B/pop tune about self-acceptance called “I Like It.”
Myla Fink and Chelsea Glover make up Hello Sunday. Paired up at a summer performing arts camp, they formed a duo and haven’t looked back.
That impressive finish on The Voice came at the tender age of 14. And after just one coach — Kelly Clarkson — turned for their blind audition.
In a recent 20-question Q&A video, the girls admit they spent so much time together while filming The Voice that they got on one another’s nerves, just a little bit.
“Me and Chelsea are very different,” Myla says in that video. “Our artistic director says all the time, ‘One’s like fire, one’s like ice. One’s like salt, one’s like pepper.
“But it’s like one needs the other, and that makes it awesome.”
A music video for “I Like It” is one the way, the girls say. They’re also hoping to put out an EP this summer and perhaps a couple more singles between now and then.
Here’s a snippet of “I Like It.”
