Mandi Castillo advanced to the live shows on The Voice Season 18.

Mandi Castillo, a Season 18 standout on The Voice, recently released her first single since the show and has more on the way.

The new song, released June 15, is called “My Heart Cries.” It’s a soulful ballad in which the Latino artist shows off her bilingual skills.

She also announced on social media that she’s working on a new EP “and I’m so proud of it.”

“Striving to have a different sound … an authentic sound, not just with my vocals, but with the beats,” she adds in a separate post.

From San Antonio, Mandi auditioned for The Voice at age 23 and turned four chairs with her all-Spanish blind audition cover of “Así Fue.”

She chose to join Team John Legend and advanced to the Top 17 before being eliminated.

Mandi had released music before the show, including a five-song EP called “I” in July 2019.

Here’s “My Heart Cries” on Apple Music and Spotify.
