Hey, have you checked out the new single from Kris Allen?
If not, do yourself a favor and play “The Vision of Love” below.
Kris’ new single is upbeat. It’s catchy. It does a great job of showing off his voice.
It’s a song I could listen to over and over.
And I really didn’t expect to be writing that since I wasn’t a fan of his first post-Idol single (remember “Live Like We’re Dying”) or his debut album.
Except for a couple of songs — like “Red Guitar” — there seemed to be a disconnect between the Kris we met on Idol and the Kris we were hearing on that album.
Kris co-wrote this new single with Nasri Atweh and Adam Messinger.
And he’s said in interviews that having more time to work on the second album made all the difference in the world.
A release date hasn’t been announced for the new CD, but Kris said in late February that it could come out in late May or early June.
As for the single, “The Vision of Love” went on sale on iTunes today. Physical singles are supposed to be available at WalMart.
Kris also has something on his website about a sticker you can get to go with the single.
I’m not much for stickers, but the single … well, if it’s an example of what Kris has in store on his new album, we’re all in for a treat.

I absolutely LOVE this song! Kris’ falsetto and singing in his lower register towards the end with just the piano playing are AMAZING!! Go and buy this inspirational song. Walmart has an exclusive physical copy that also includes a dance re-mix of The Vision of Love. Hearing Kris showcase his new songs at The Mint in April, I cannot wait for his album to come out and to attend more shows!

I heard it although its catchy I do not like it because Kris is uainf autotune his voice is much better then that
Loving it! This song has hit written all over it. If “Live Like We’re Dying” can sell almost 1.7 million, the sky is the limit for this even more radio-friendly pop perfection. Can’t stop playing it.
I love it so much..what an inspiring song..it’s amazing..& kris you are growing by the second becoming one of the best singers worldwide..what an incredible voice& a huge talent. Love You.:)
