A look at recent releases from singers fans met on The Voice and American Idol.

EllieMae from Season 17 has a new song out called “Rebel Child.” The Idaho-based singer-songwriter says it’s a song she wrote about her favorite sister and has been playing live for about seven years. “This song is for the ones who never fit the mold, who chase their own wild dreams, and live life unapologetically,” she writes on Instagram. It’s one of three singles EllieMae released in 2024.

Allegra Miles recently released a single called “Wonderland x 3.” It’s a song she says she wrote for her 5-year-old self. “Baby Allegra thinks it’s the coolest thing ever that we get to sing and write songs everyday and share them with the world. I am really living her wildest dreams,” she writes on social media. At 17, Allegra made the semifinals on Season 18 of The Voice. At 19, she auditioned for Season 20 of American Idol and made it to the Top 14. “Wonderland” was the last of eight singles she released in 2024. You can check out five of those songs on an EP called “Arcade” that dropped in July.

Tori Miller from Season 19 recently released a single called “Looking Glass.” And she’s packaged it as a mini EP with two other songs she released in 2024, “Devil Bent” and Boston Mountains.” “I have dreamt of what it would feel like to share what’s essentially my diary for a long time, and yall have exceeded all of my expectations,” she writes on social media. She be performing the song live at a Jan. 25 show at the Bowery Vault in Nashville; Dani Stacy will also be performing.
