American Idol on Wednesday provided more details on the performances planned for Sunday’s three-hour Season 17 finale.

And there will be an appearance, if not a performance, by Season 16 champ Maddie Poppe. The release even mentions her new album “Whirlwind,” which comes out Friday.

Still, that’s not the same as a live performance that would prompt fans to heads to their favorite music source and download or stream the music.

As for what will happen, here’s the listen, though the show advises that it is not complete.

* Adam Lambert will perform his new single, “New Eyes,” and “Bohemian Rhapsody” with Dimitrius Graham

* Carrie Underwood will perform her new single, “Southbound”

* Daddy Yankee and Katy Perry will perform “Con Calma”

* Dan + Shay will perform “All To Myself” and “Speechless” with Madison VanDenburg

* Jon Pardi will perform a medley of “Night Shift” and “Dirt On My Boots” with Laine Hardy

* Kane Brown will perform “Good As You” and “Lost in the Middle of Nowhere” with Alyssa Raghu

* Katy Perry will perform “Unconditionally” with Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon

* Kool & The Gang will perform a medley of “Hollywood Swinging,” “Ladies Night” and “Celebrate” with the Top 10

* Luke Bryan will perform “Knockin’ Boots” and “Every Breath You Take” with Laci Kaye Booth

* Lionel Richie will perform “Dancing on the Ceiling” with the Top 10

* Montell Jordan will perform “This Is How We Do It” with Margie Mays and Austin Michael

* Shayy, the legally blind Top 40 contestant, will perform “Rise Up” with a Grammy Award winner who hasn’t yet been revealed

* Weezer will perform a medley of “Africa,” “Take On Me” and “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” with Wade Cota and Walker Burroughs

Of course, sometime during all this I’d hope the Top 3 of Laine Hardy, Madison VanDenburg and Alejandro Aranda will get a final chance to prove they should be the Season 17 American Idol.

The fun starts at 8 p.m. Sunday and I’ll be live blogging throughout.
