The Top 3 on American Idol will visit their hometowns today (Tuesday, May 14).
From Hazelhurst, Ga., Will Moseley faces the longest trip, crossing the country for his homecoming.
It will feature a 5 p.m. parade in Hazlehurst that will end at the Jeff Davis High School football stadium, where he’ll perform at a 6:30 p.m. concert.
Jack Blocker will travel to Dallas, Texas for his homecoming.
The highlight of his Tuesday schedule will be a 45-minute concert at Strauss Square.
His hometown trip actually got off to an early start. Monday night, he performed before a sold-out crowd at halftime of the Dallas Mavericks’ NBA playoff game. He’s posted about the experience multiple times on Instagram and you can check out a snippet of his performance below.
As for Abi Carter? Well, it’s only about 130 miles from L.A. to her hometown of Indio, Calif.
She’ll be treated to a hometown parade at 6 p.m. local time followed by a 7 p.m. concert at a new outdoor concert venue in Indio called Center Stage.
Of course, American Idol film crews will accompany the Top 3 on all of those trips and we’ll see footage from the visits on Sunday’s three-hour season finale.
Update 1: Jeff Davis County Schools has posted a full video of Will Moseley’s performance from Tuesday. There’s a lot of lead-in chatter. Will begins performing at the one-hour, 4-minute mark.
Update 2: Abi received the key to Indio during her hometown visit on Tuesday. Watch her reaction to the presentation here.
Update 3: A YouTube user named Setlist Theory has started posting videos from Abi’s subsequent concert. Here’s one of those.
Update 4: Idol has posted brief videos of all three homecomings. I’m sure we’ll see more on Sunday.
Update 5: AT&T Performing Arts Center posted a snippet from Jack Blocker’s homecoming show.

Wow Will sings and performs like he’s already a star, so much style boy is he going to make it big on country radio, the others sing good but no style like Will.
