Anita Antoinette, Craig Wayne Boyd both advance on The Voice

Gwen Stefani pitted two very different singers together in the knockout round when she paired country rocker Craig Wayne Boyd with reggae singer Anita Antoinette.

It worked out fine for both singers. Anita won the knockout round and Blake Shelton stole Craig Wayne, meaning they will both advance to the live playoffs, which begin Monday.

Anita performed “Rude” for her knockout song and received praise from the judges on how much improvement she has made since her blind audition, especially in terms of her performance style.

Craig Wayne sang “Can’t You See” in what Adam Levine called a “turbo masculine” performance. He started Season 7 on Team Blake before being stolen by Gwen in the battle round.
