Billy Gilman put another stamp on his status as front-runner on The Voice following Monday’s episode.

His cover of “Crying” was easily the best-charting song on iTunes, landing in the Top 30 on the overall singles chart.

That put him more than 40 spots ahead of his nearest competitor, Brendan Fletcher, also of Team Adam.

Because of Monday’s silly live-voting format, iTunes downloads did not count toward the results in the live playoffs.

But that will change next week, when the finals begin. Both Billy and Brendan advanced to those finals.

So did Sundance Head of Team Blake, Christian Cuevas of Team Alicia and Josh Gallagher of Team Adam, all of whom cracked the iTunes Top 200 chart.

Interestingly, Riley Elmore, who was eliminated, also hit the overall singles chart while several singers who advanced to the finals, including all the R&B ladies, failed to do so despite impressive performance Monday night.

Below are the rankings of all the songs on iTunes — both on the overall and genre charts — as of noon eastern time. That’s when voting typically ends following a live performance show on The Voice.

As always, following the links will take you to a profile of the singer.
