New post-Voice music out includes singles from Brynn Cartelli, Britton Buchanan and Sydney Rhame.

Here’s a bit about each of those releases.

The links take you to the songs on Apple Music. Or you can check out Spotify snippets below.

* Brynn Cartelli, the Season 14 champion, released her first single in two years Friday. “Long Way Home” is an upbeat playful song about a young girl in no hurry to get home after leaving a party. Says Brynn in a press release announcing the single: “I will never forget the day I wrote it with Nathan Chapman in Nashville, going around the studio and using random items as percussion. What started as a slow, weirdly depressing idea on piano became a super fun pop record. Each lyric to me is a wink at the rush of young love in a small town. Getting lost on streets with no names, letting yellow lights turn red, purposely taking the Long Way Home, I’ll do anything to push the limits of my curfew.” A music video and more music will likely come soon. Brynn’s been working on an EP and indicating she was finishing up that project in a social media post earlier this year.

* Britton Buchanan, runner-up to Brynn on Season 14, also has a new single out. “Last Time for Everything” is already his third single this year. It’s about a young couple whose love falls apart. And it follows “Can’t Help Myself” and “Hate the Way I Love You.”

* Sydney Rhame, from Season 10, has released “Dancing on the Ceiling.” In this case, the title doesn’t lie. It’s an upbeat pop song about a girl who’s ex might think she misses him. Think otherwise. She’s doing just fine. There’s a music video too. Sydney thanks director Brock Shanks “for creating all the visuals that brought this song to life.”
