Since the live playoffs, I’ve considered Matt McAndrew and Craig Wayne Boyd the front-runners on The Voice.

But could Chris Jamison pull off an upset this week and walk away with the Season 7 title?

Oh, yeah.

Chris’ popularity has been surging. Just check out the Twitter numbers below.

Last week, he passed Craig Wayne Boyd as the leader in Twitter followers for the first time. Since then, he’s picked up another 12,000.

In fact, Chris has gained more Twitter followers since the live playoffs than Matt McAndrew and Damien Lawson now have.

Then there’s this: Just a week ago, fans of Chris rallied to put both of his downloads from Monday’s show in the Top 10 on iTunes.

That’s something fans of Matt McAndrew and Craig Wayne Boyd failed to do, even with a spot in the finals on the line.

Here are the Twitter and Facebook numbers for the final four as of 8 p.m. Sunday night.

The first number is the total number of fans or followers. The second number, in parenthesis, is the number of fans of followers the contestant had when the live shows began. The third is the number of fans or followers they’ve gained since that time.

Check back Monday and Tuesday nights for live blogs as The Voice Season 7 comes to a close.
