Two years after winning The Voice, Craig Wayne Boyd has launched a Pledge Music Drive to help fund his new album.

The big news for fans who have been eagerly awaiting new music from Craig: That album will be out in March, according to the info on the Pledge page.

After winning The Voice, Craig was signed to Dot Records/Big Machine label group, but the union failed to produce new music.

When I talked to Craig prior to a show in York last summer, he said he “asked off the label.” He’s since released two singles — “I’m Still Here” and “Stuck in My Head.” The latter will be on the new album, which Craig says he’s been working on for “the past nine months of so.”

Of course, this being Pledge Music, fans who contribute toward the cost of the new album get rewards.

Offers from Craig include tickets to an album release show, Skype music lessons and a chance to spend a day in the studio as the album is being recorded.

You can check it all out on Craig’s Pledge page.
