Baptized, Daughtry’s fourth album, comes out Tuesday.

Well, you can listen for free over at VH1 where they’ve been streaming the entire album. Just head here.

The band has already released one of the songs, “Waiting for a Superman,” as a single, and it’s been near the top of the iTunes’ rock singles chart ever since.

In a track-by-track interview with Yahoo Music, Chris says the title track was actually one of the first written for the album, back in February.

He wrote the song with Claude Kelly, someone he said he’d been wanting to work with for a long time, and said the song came together very quickly.

“We actually left that day saying, ‘We’re not sure if it’s good. We’ll find out when it’s all comped out and demoed up,'” Chris recalls during the interview. “When I got the demo, I was like, ‘This is one of the best songs I’ve ever written.’

“And it stayed one of my favorites throughout the writing process. And so, during all that, I’m like ‘This album has to be called Baptized.’ It just feels right.”

Chris, of course, is one of the most successful singers to come from Idol.

His band’s first two albums both went platinum. Album number three, 2011’s “Break the Spell,” debuted at number eight on the Billboard 200.
