The minute Emily Ann Roberts announced her song, you just knew it had the making of a crowd favorite.

The 17-year-old performed the gospel song “In the Garden” with her country flair during the live playoffs Tuesday night on The Voice.

She explained that she chose “In the Garden” because it was the favorite song of a grandfather she never met.

And she performed it well, drawing high praise from all the coaches on The Voice.

Her reward: The best performing song on iTunes by a member of Team Blake.

By midnight EST, the song was sitting at number 16 on iTunes’ Top 200.

And by noon EST Wednesday, it had climbed into bonus points territory, sitting at number six. That means Emily Ann is pretty much a sure bet to advance to The Voice Season 9 finals.

Barrett Baver was close behind Emily Ann and hip-shaking teen Zach Seabaugh also did very well on iTunes. In fact, Emily Ann, Zach and Barrett were all in the top five on the iTunes’ country singles chart at noon.

Six singers performed for Team Blake Tuesday night. Two will advance to the finals based on fan voting and iTunes downloads.

Blake will then select one of the remaining four contestants to advance.

Here’s how the songs from Tuesday’s show were doing on iTunes as of noon.

Emily Ann Roberts, “In the Garden” — number 6 on the iTunes’ Top 200 chart and number 2 on the country chart
