The American Idol Season 13 auditions continued in Atlanta over the weekend.
And Idol was reporting that a crowd of 5,000 showed up.

A reporter with one Georgia newspaper names three return auditioners who showed up in Atlanta and has posted snippets of several other contestants singing. You can check those out here.
You might want to get to know these folks. After all, the last three winners — Candice Glover, Phillip Phillips and Scotty McCreery — hail from the southeastern U.S. Add Ruben Studdard, Fantasia and Taylor Hicks, and the southeast has produced six winners in Idol’s 12 seasons.
Idol has three more audition cities to visit: Boston on Aug. 2, Austin on Aug. 7 and Omaha on Aug. 11.
And, of course, online auditions are still welcome. That process continues through the end of August.
